For Developers:
- Make sure to set up your development environment in advance. We recommend having a code editor, a version control system like Git, and any necessary compilers or interpreters for your chosen language.
- Familiarize yourselves with any APIs or technologies you plan on using. Remember, the more prepared you are, the more you'll be able to accomplish during the hackathon!
For Designers:
- Make sure you have your preferred design tools ready, whether that's Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or something else.
- Think about user experience and user interface principles as you design. The usability and aesthetics of your project are important!
For Project Managers:
- Be prepared to help coordinate your team and keep everyone focused. Good organization can be the key to a successful project!
- Familiarize yourself with agile methodologies and consider using a Kanban board or similar tool to track progress.
For all UW Students:
- Remember to take care of yourselves during the event. Make sure to take breaks, stay hydrated, and get some sleep!
- Don't be afraid to ask questions and seek help. The hackathon is not just about the final product, but also about learning and growing along the way!
